Overview
Vendor Change Watchdog is operated by TeamAdler.
This policy explains what information the service stores, why it is stored, and how to contact the operator about privacy questions.
Information We Collect
We collect the information needed to provide the service:
- account information:
- email address
- password hash
- account plan
- account activity timestamps such as sign-up and last login
- monitored-page configuration:
- vendor names
- monitored URLs
- page types
- schedules
- notification settings
- grouping tags
- monitoring records:
- fetched snapshots
- detected changes
- review notes and follow-up state
- notification-delivery history
- service and operational metadata:
- invite state
- account onboarding state

How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- authenticate users
- store and run monitored-page checks

- send notifications requested by the account owner
- operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service
- administer accounts and invites
We do not sell account information.
What We Do Not Collect For Advertising
The service is not built around ad targeting or third-party behavioral profiling.
We do not use account or monitored-page data for third-party advertising resale.
Monitored Content
The service stores page content that users choose to monitor.
That may include text from vendor privacy policies, terms, pricing pages, support pages, or similar business-risk documents. Users are responsible for choosing pages they are authorized to monitor and review.
Email and Notifications
When alerts are enabled, the service stores notification settings and delivery history, including:
- destination email address
- delivery status
- provider message identifiers
- error text returned by the mail provider
This is used to send alerts and troubleshoot delivery problems.
Service Providers
The service may rely on third-party providers for:
- web and application hosting
- database hosting
- outbound email delivery
Those providers may process operational data only as needed to provide the service.
Cookies and Sessions
The service uses a session cookie to keep users signed in after authentication.
This cookie is necessary for the product to function and is not used for third-party advertising.
Data Retention
We retain account records, monitored-page configuration, snapshots, changes, and notification history for as long as needed to operate the service or until they are removed by the operator or account owner.
If a monitored page is removed, the service currently removes the page and its related stored history for that account.
Account-level records may still be retained as needed for operational, abuse-prevention, or audit purposes.
Data Sharing
We share information only as needed to operate the service, such as:
- infrastructure hosting
- database hosting
- outbound email delivery
We do not share account information for marketing resale purposes.
Account Requests
If you have questions about your account data, contact the operator.
Reasonable requests related to account information, access issues, or service privacy questions will be handled manually.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect account information, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Your Choices
You can:
- update your account email and password
- change notification settings
- remove monitored pages from your account
- contact the operator about account or privacy questions
